Europe's unelected and unaccountable little Lords and Masters — also known as "Commissioners" — an endless source of nonsensicalities:
"The fact that we fight terrorism cannot mean that we kill people," — EU Justice Commissioner Franco Frattini
We shan't do that indeed.

Let's just dress the GIGN, SAS and GSG 9 squads in pink tutus and have them toss excessively runny and smelly camemberts at suicide-bombers and other Islamic swashbucklers, while taunting them with homophobic colorful language and "Ali has a teensy-weensy bacon rod" jokes.

The fact that terrorists kill people doesn't mean we can't fight them, and a runny camembert is a powerful weapon.

With sloppy-spined officials like EU Commissar Frattini in charge of "Justice", it's pretty much the only one we have left anyway.

....But those we "fight" certainly have no qualms about killing us. Brilliant commentary, Mr. EU Justice Commissioner

The sad truth is, we humans never seem to learn from history. Blockheads are everywhere. Here's an interesting read on this very subject: http://www.americandaily.com/article/4034

Jay, I was having the same issue...

I'm not really a "Stranger from out there", just Ohio, but I couldn't change it.

DF, we used to have a motto that covered your situation, I think that it went 'one vote, one man.' With that tool you could actually get rid of jerks like that, and even find people to fight those who would like to kill you.

Come to think of it, we have the same problem again. Maybe I'll go buy a history book and see how they did it back then.

Do you think they've found wet noodle beatings so effective before? Insane, but then they come from the same school of thought that gave the Sudentenland, Czechloslovakia, Poland and France into Hitler's hands with so little blood shed and thought they had peace. Yeah, that's effective in fighting tyrany.

It's not all doom and gloom the world over. We've still got old school type stout hearted warriors among us.
