DISCLAIMER: in my experience, the following doesn't apply to 99% of my readership. Unfortunately, experience also shows it has to be written down for the remaining 1%.
The short version, when it comes to my comments policy, goes down to a line taken from the (mediocre) second opus of the Matrix:
"I built this place. Down here, I make the rules."
Let's elaborate a bit:
If you need further help with the site, you may want to check the Field Manual. Ultimately, you can also drop me a line. I usually don't answer jellyfish and buttermonkey(1) hybrids however.

If it doesn’t involve windsurfing or mountain biking or some other sport where the wind can whistle through his empty head, the gigolo from Massachusetts doesn’t do so well!

I read somewhere and have to agree John Kerry looks like Lurch from The Adams Family.

"Assuming Kerry was to put a fight, of course - considering his Vietnam record, a fair amount of doubt is legitimate here." Well said, Dis ... well said. I have little doubt that Mrs. Palin could beat that "war hero" (sic) to within an inch of his despicable life. I’m still waiting for the creep to release his military records to substantiate his claims of injuries and the resulting Purple Heart Medals he claims he earned. It has been over two years since he said on national TV that he would do that. I’m waiting, John!

"John F’n Kerry’s military records are kept in a secret kryptonite vault along with Jimmy Hoffa’s remains, and will be released the same year as the report on the second gunman at the Kennedy assassination." That would be the same vault that hides the Great-And-Wonderful-Obama’s birth certificate.
