Checked the oil, checked the tires, the cooling fluid. The car is okay.

I'm taking the road in a few hours now. Leaving the dacha around 3 AM, heading to Joe and Tommy's final resting, several hundreds of kilometers from here.

I wrote down, manually, the messages you sent me for them. They're in my backpack now.

I checked twice. And I know I will check back again before starting the engine in a few hours.

Yes, Valerie in Texas, who I dare to call my friend, I will thank Joe and Tommy for you.

Je prends la route dans quelques heures maintenant. Je quitte la dacha vers 3 heures du matin, en direction de la dernière demeure de Joe et Tommy, à plusieurs centaines de kilomètres d'ici.

J'ai écrit, à la main, les messages que vous m'avez fait parvenir pour eux. Ils sont dans mon sac à dos maintenant.

J'ai vérifié à deux reprises. Et je sais que je vérifierai à nouveau avant de mettre le contact dans quelques heures.
