According to several surveys run by prestigious and renowned French institutes such as CSA and IPSOS for several daily newspapers around the 9th of January this year, the French people is
massively opposed to
the liberation of a war in Iraq.
According to
all the polls run
over several months (hell, even years for some) by the same prestigious and renowned institutes and
all the other renowned and prestigious institutes (such as the SOFRES, IFOP, BVA and Louis Harris) who ran polls between September 2000 and April 2002, it was
a sheer certitude that Mr. Jospin would be opposed to Mr. Chirac on the second turn of the French presidential elections.
And not Le Pen.
Phoney elections?
Anyway, I just ran a poll and asked myself, my Mom on the cell phone, my Dad on their home phone
(Dad always leaves his cell phone in the most implausible places. Most of the time it's switched off or the battery is flat. A real pain for the occasional pollster), the old fart living in the next home
(by the way I'm really starting to get pissed by his BMW in front of my door. He's going to have my XM right under his portico in no time I tell you. And how will you manage to get your lousy BMW out of your garage then old man? Throat cancer earned you my indulgence but don't push that too far OK?), his dog and the mailwoman
(yep, we have a mailwoman. She's cute but not too smart. I'm at house #21, it's written on the door. And it's usually written on my mail too. Yet she bravely and stubbornly persists to deliver it to #23. Hence my relation with the cancerous BMW. She's cute all right. But civil servant.) and I can come up with 90% of French people massively in favor of the liberation of Iraq by a US lead coalition of countries defending freedom.
Among the 10% left, we have 5% for the "No" answer; by the civil servant mailwoman. Civil servants in this country are massively Socialists and/or Communists and therefore hate freedom.
The remaining 5% is for "No Opinion".
I'm afraid the old cancerous BMW with his throat disease is not going well since I just couldn't understand his answer.
His dog was pretty clear and straightforward. This animal should join the army, I kid you not.

Elections truquées ?
Quoi qu'il en soit, je viens juste de réaliser un sondage en me demandant à moi-même, à ma Maman sur son portable, à mon Papa sur leur téléphone fixe
(Papa laisse toujours traîner son portable aux endroits les plus improbables. La plupart du temps d'ailleurs il est éteint ou la batterie est à plat. C'est la galère pour le sondeur occasionnel), au vieux brise-bourses qui habite la maison d'à côté
(A ce propos, je commence à en avoir plein les bottes de sa BMW devant ma porte. Il va se retrouver avec ma XM au milieu de son porche en deux temps trois mouvements, c'est moi qui vous le dis. (ouais, on a une factrice. Elle est mignonne mais pas trop futée. Je suis au nº 21, c'est écrit sur la porte. Et habituellement, c'est écrit sur mon courrier aussi. Malgré cela elle persiste avec une bravoure et une obstination qui force l'admiration à remettre mon courrier au nº 23. D'où mes relations avec le cancer à la BMW. Elle est mignonne c'est certain. Mais fonctionnaire.) et j'arrive à un résultat de 90% de français qui soutiennent massivement la libération de l'Irak par une coalition de pays attachés à la liberté et menés par les USA.
Les 10% restant sont constitués respectivement de 5% de "Non" par la fonctionnaire factrice, les fonctionnaire de ce pays étant massivement Socialistes et/ou Communistes et donc haïssant la liberté et de 5% de "Ne se prononce pas".
J'ai peur que le cancer de la gorge de la BMW n'aille pas trop bien, je n'ai pas compris un traître mot à sa réponse.
Son chien quand à lui a été très clair et direct. Sans rire, cet animal devrait rejoindre les forces armées.
