I wish to bid a cordial welcome to the people coming from
Samizdata, one of the sites in the anglosphere that really makes you bitterly regret Philip VI, the salic king's illicit appropriation of the throne of France and the spoliation of Edward III's legitimate rights.
Comparing the destiny of our two nations, I can't help but thinking that everything went down the drain for France after that: a mentally ill or just retarded lineage of kings, the Terror, Napoleon, Pétain, Chirac.
