CPT J in Bagram, Afghanistan, telling Blackfive about Senator Hussein Obama's basketball photo-op in (or around) the foxholes:
I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders than from one of the Senators, who wants to be the President of the United States.

Read the whole thing. It bears at least two questions:
  1. Does B Hussein O really believe this kind of disgraceful behavior in remote war zones can go unnoticed in this day and age?
  2. Will we soon have to take the prize of Worst U.S. President away from Jimmy Carter, leaving him only a vulgar1 Nobel Peace prize?
  1. Arafat, Al Gore. Smirk time.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, DF. I've gone to Blackfive's site and copied his link. I'm sending it out via email to all on my list and I've asked them to do the same. The more circulation this gets, the better. I know the MSM will not report something like this, but it's quite revealing, not to mention important to get at least one soldier's first-hand view of the "historic visit".

The shame as was pointed out by a BlackFive poster is that with his media admirers along for the ride they already knew about this. If it weren't for the Internet Bogs this would have gone unmentioned. Thanks DF.

And don't forget this classic . "Let me be absolutely clear...Israel is a strong friend of Israel's." ~B. Hussein Obama

Yeah, I'd say he out ranks Jimmy Carter already.

Perhaps worse than Carter, but the important thing to remember is he hasn't been elected yet, no matter how much some would wish it.

So, in a few years will Sen. O tell of how he landed while unde sniper fire and had to dash to the car?

Remember when the Dems threw a hissty fit that W showed off a beautifully cooked turke to the soldiers on that secret visit to Iraq? They were screeching because it hadn't been cooked on site. It was a...staged turkey!!

Well, they must be happy in this instance because the turkey being shown off is real.

Froggy, I have been hearing this around the campfire for awhile. Obamoid treats soldiers and veterans very shabbily, and always has.

And you got another post at sayanything. Was that your doing, Proof?

But the Obamarx doesn't want to be president.

He wants to be El Presidente for Life.

If he wins, that will be the last American election for president, and civil war will ensue.

The black political leaders in the southern suburbs of Chicago are already planning for the race riots after election day.

And they are not planning to stop them.

Ah, just got through reading the Messiah's address to the throngs of Berliners -- very interesting, especially in light of their ongoing love affair with the man (which is downright hilarious if he's doing what I think he's doing). Noticed it isn't going as...lovingly.... in some other European capitols, all this attention given to the Germans (I have some ideas on that too, but we'll wait and see).

No visits to American military hospital though. To be seen with the American Tommy Atkins' would just not do for one of his elitist, socialist ilk, nor would it win him props from his far left base (who have been getting testy with him as of late). Just got call from daughter, no he isn't winning points but you would be shocked to know that some in the military do back this joker (the rot is everywhere).

This Obamaramadingdong World Tour could very well backfire on him big time though; Americans don't really like their pols getting cozy with foreigners, especially continental Europeans, especially not at this point in time; plus they're wondering what the hell this was all about anyway, save Barry's arrogance -- he isn't even the DNC nominee yet, and Hill didn't release her super delegates last time I checked (where HAVE Bill and Hill gotten themselves to anyway? in fact some of the Dems major leaguers are astongishingly absent as of late). ??? Although I'll admit to having a fondness for a good conspiracy/intrigue story, so perhaps my imagination races too much.

My (German) husband wants to know if the public will be made aware of ALL of the symbolic interpretations of the Siegessaule -- it's quite a popular thing with a certain segment of Berlin society; dear hubbie says it would make for some great comedy for neocons with photoshop skills.

unknown jane will no doubt be glad to know that the question of the location of Obama's speech has been thoroughly canvassed. Conclusion: it's unfortunate that George Bush's interference made the Brandenburger Tor unavailable, and of course it's an outrage that the Pentagon wouldn't let him visit the wounded soldiers. Consult any media outlet for confirmation.

Frogman, I'm not sure if there is an exact Obama equivalent in Europe, but I can give you an analogy: Consider a "labor leader" from the docks of Marseilles or Genoa, or (God help us) Naples. You know, the sort of guy who can deliver pure Marxist-Leninist cant at the drop of a hat, and shows up at Significant Conferences to defend the Rights of the Workingman in a chauffeur-driven Mercedes. He toils for a modest salary granted by the Union, and the thousand-square-meter cottage with associated vineyard is merely the result of thrift and good management. Shipmasters have safes or strongboxes containing anything up to half a million Euro (in mixed currencies), from which they contribute (entirely voluntarily, of course!) to The Cause. That's Obama. If he's elected, he will genuinely unite the World -- along about this time next year, the entire planet will be on its knees praying for the return of Jimmy Carter.

Regards,

Ric
