Nous ne pouvons plus nous offrir le luxe de regarder passivement un ennemi construire une force navale et militaire pendant plusieurs décades. Nous n'avons plus à affronter d'uniformes divisions massées aux frontières. A contrario, nous sommes confrontés à de sordides assassins sans limites aucunes, qui ne craignent aucun châtiment terrestre, qui adorent et glorifient la mort comme fin en soi et qui ne haïssent pas seulement ce que nous faisons mais également ce que nous sommes, d'une aigreur noire que nous sommes loin de seulement imaginer..Il y a tellement à prendre en considération dans ce travail de Bill Whittle que cette citation n'est qu'un des joyaux de la couronne.
