In the wake of Merde in France's post and this BBC News article, I decided it could be useful to reveal the real deal behind Mecca-Cola. So I grabbed my Crayola box and here it is. In English: I must also add that the confused and simplistic anti-capitalist Islamic-Marxist (now that's some kind of partnership) diatribe on the real site (look under the "Société" link) is worth a couple of peanuts too and is, at least, a good laugh (for every visitor endowed with a fully functioning brain), for which Tawfik Mathlouthi, Mecca-Cola's entrepreneur deserve to be thanked. Problem is, I stop laughing when I start to remember how businesses get government backing down here in the Land of State Interventionism. I could bet the most precious parts of my anatomy that Mecca-Cola is subsidized by the French tax payers' money. Which includes mine. Sure, I have no proof. But it's just a gamble you know. UPDATE:
It looks like somebody at Mecca-Cola enjoyed my version enough to email me. So there goes another one, more on the spot.

A la suite du post de Merde in France et de cet article de BBC News, j'ai décidé qu'il pourrait être utile de révéler la substantifique moelle de Mecca-Cola. J'ai donc attrapé ma boite de crayons, et voila le travail. En Français : Je dois dire également que la diatribe anti-capitaliste Islamo-Marxiste (ça c'est du partenariat) confuse et simpliste que vous trouverez sur le véritable site (voir sous le menu "Société") vaut bien quelques cacahuètes et occasionnera au moins une bonne rigolade (chez tout utilisateur muni d'une cervelle en état de fonctionnement), pour laquelle Tawfik Mathlouthi, l'entrepreneur de Mecca-Cola mérite d'être remercié. Le problème, c'est que je cesse de rire quand je commence à me souvenir comment le gouvernement finance la création d'entreprise ici, au Pays de l'Interventionnisme d'Etat. Je pourrai parier les parties les plus précieuses de mon anatomie que Mecca-Cola est subventionné par l'argent du contribuable Français. Ce qui inclue le mien. Bien sur, je n'ai pas de preuves. Mais bon... C'est juste un pari. MISE A JOUR :
Il semble que quelqu'un chez Mecca-Cola ait apprécié ma version au point de m'écrire. En voici donc une nouvelle, plus spécifique.
