Here's further details of the up coming (maybe) movie about Ronald Reagan. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=638&ncid=762&e=1&u=/nm/20031103/en_nm/leisure_reagans_dc
Basicly says CBS is Mulling over whether to drop it.
Congress has requested there be disclaimers at every commercial break saying : content is fiction meant as entertainment only - any resemblence to actual political figures is purely malicious.

The latest on this is that Viacom has pulled the show from CBS and will be airing it on Showtime.....better, but it is not dead yet. Since Showtime is a subscription based movie channel I hope, at the least, it will remove any veneer of accuracy that the authors had hoped for.
I'd still prefer to see the show spiked for good and will continue to press for that.

And now the networks are asking "Who is the next victim?" of the right wing conservatives threatened boycotts and arm twisting. As if CBS wasn't serving up a hatchet job.
Good, perhaps they will think twice before distorting someone elses life.
David Limbaugh, Rush Limbaugh's son, has started a script based on Hillary and Bill's lives. Supposedly he is paying perticular care to the accurate historical record, especially to certain days President Clinton spent in the Oval office with a young female intern. David says he doesn't quite have enough funding to get it on film ... yet.

Babs Streisand, braying liberal politicos, and clueless network executives:
"Freedom of speech" is not "Freedom to lie with flagrant disregard for
the truth and expect no consequences."

Right on target, Valerie :) As for the left having the islamo-fascists as their hope (which is true) is such a laugh. Most of them will be hanged, whipped, hands cut-off, and other niceties under islamic rule. Of course, zero abortion, zero homosexuals....etc. Which means that the left is in such trouble that they want to have as allies somebody that will shred their cherished post-modern world to pieces. Good luck for them!
