As of June 2007, I have redesigned and relaunched the site at www.thedissidentfrogman.com/blog
This page won’t be updated anymore, and remains here for archiving purposes. After all, that’s a piece of my history.

I’m just next door, really. I have consolidated all the content of the site since 2002, and I’m running on a much improved software.

Please update bookmarks and blogrolls:

Superior Value • Valeur Supérieure

Fired from France by the dissident frogman

Alice Bachini has taken my recent Crystal Nights post as a stepping stone to bring the issue home in such an insightful and pertinent way that it would be superfluous to add anything else but go read it now.

As a matter of fact, although we both attended the last Blogger Bash at the Samizdata HQ, I missed the pleasure to enjoy her conversation: I believe she was the lady whose attention was egotistically monopolized all the evening by Brian Micklethwait, even though on these pictures he's acting as if he's not.

Nope, just wanted to see if I could turn a frogman red.

If I have offended you with my little joke , please accept my humble appology.

Hehe, well let's see if I can turn a Californian green then:

If I had been sitting in that tree, you'd have a whole bunch of reasons to BE jealous Papertiger. Trust me.

Don't know about Val, but I pretty much enjoyed your joke. No apology needed as far as I'm concerned.

Made me wonder if you'd been talking to someone tho. Turning green already?

DF,
I always enjoy Paper Tiger's comments. And he's a cutie too.

Paper Tiger,
Enjoy your free-range tofu stuffed with sushi tomorrow out there in California. Seriously, have a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family.

DF have you ever seen Dances with Wolves?

Movie quote/ Kicking Bird: I was just thinking that of all the trails in this life there is one that matters most. It is the trail of a true human being. I think you are on this trail and it is good to see.

Val
Hope you enjoy your BBQ free-range sage hen dipped in home made picante sause out there in Texas. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours .

The results of a Texan abroad serving some chow are briliantly illustrated in http://iraqthemodel.blogspot.com/ Give a look and your heart will be warmed.
